Barmouth Walking Festival + Sauna

Step, Stroll, Soak – The Perfect Barmouth Walking Festival Wind-Down

Every September, the Barmouth Walking Festival brings together lovers of the outdoors for ten days of guided walks through some of Snowdonia’s most breathtaking scenery. From coastal paths and estuary strolls to rugged mountain treks, it’s a celebration of nature, movement, and community spirit in one of Wales’ most beautiful corners.

After a day of exploring the hills and trails, what better way to restore tired legs and calm the mind than with a session in a wood-fired sauna by the sea?

Just a short distance from the festival hub, our mobile sauna offers the perfect post-walk retreat. Settle into the gentle heat, breathe in the scent of warm aspen wood, and let the fire’s natural warmth ease sore muscles and quiet your thoughts. With views of the coast and the fresh sea air just outside the door, it’s a rejuvenating experience for body and soul.

You can book this online soon.

Benefits of a post-hike sauna include:

So whether you’ve conquered Cadair Idris or simply soaked up the scenery, give yourself the gift of stillness and warmth after your adventure.

During the last 20 years Barmouth Walking Festival has been encouraging visitors to experience the beauty of South Eryri on foot, guided by experienced and knowledgeable leaders.

This year is no exception, offering a varied programme of walks ranging from a challenging all day hike to a walk for relaxation and mindfulness. This year also sees the return of the popular Photographic Walk and Workshop as well as our Woodland Trust walk.
